Following on from the three Malmö Seminars , this Pre-Stockholmia Philatelic Summit was organised by Jonas Hällström, Chairman of the Organising Committee of the Royal Philatelic Society London’s international exhibition to celebrate their year anniversary Stockholmia , in co-operation with Corinphila, Köhler and their partners in the Global Philatelic Network. The format was a series of presentations taking as the point of reference the FIP GREV (General Regulations for the Evaluation of Exhibits), article , on ‘Importance’, summarised as: ‘The criterion of Philatelic Importance requires an evaluation of philatelic significance of the subject chosen by the exhibitor, in terms of its scope, degree of difficulty of the subject, and the philatelic interest of the exhibit’. The seminars were followed by workshops, an innovation from the previous Malmö seminars.

Swedish &#; Norwegian Queen Louise&#;s Correspondence
A new book by Tomas Bjäringer RDP Hon. FRPSL and Ken Ryen, Royal Confessions to a Lifelong Friend: Swedish & Norwegian Queen Louise&#;s Correspondence has been recently released and is available for purchase from Nordic Philately.
The so-called &#;Queen&#;s letters&#; caused quite a sensation when they first emerged from obscurity and received publicity in The correspondence involves a collection of classic Swedish covers from the Skilling Banco and Vapen periods, as well as a number of stampless pre-philatelic letters, all written by Crown Princess and later Queen Louise of Sweden and Norway, and sent to her governess Victoire Wauthier in The Hague.
The page, A4-format book is written in English and sells for SEK plus p&p (90 SEK within the Nordic region, SEK to the rest of the world).

Filatelin har legender och legendarer. ”Legender” angående objekt samt ”legendarer” vilket samlat samt innehaft dem legendariska objekten. En legendar som tidigt passerade mina öron plats Tomas Bjäringer. Som barnbarn till Harry Wennberg existerar Tomas DNA filatelistiskt. kalenderår fick Tomas ett ansikte för mig, då han introducerade mig för Gustaf Douglas. Därefter blev jag en på baksidan teamet kring Gustaf såsom fick existera med för att bygga upp samlingen ’The Golden Collection of Swedish Philately’.
Tomas berättade för mig tidigt ifall Drottningbreven samt förklarade hur unik den korrespondensen existerar i världen – detta finns ingen motsvarande inom något annat land, förklarade han. Tomas försökte ett fåtal mig intresserad av för att tillsammans tillsammans med honom bearbeta det källmaterial han sedan korrespondensens upptäckt år ägde samlat vid sig. Tyvärr hade jag då ej tid samt möjlighet. Senare försökte Tomas intressera ett annan Tomas, Karlsson, för att intressera sig för källmaterialet. Karlsson påbörjade arbetet, dock hann ej så långt innan Kent Ryen ifrån ingenstans dök upp inom sammanhanget kalenderår
